Welcome to BUA. These Terms of Service govern your use of the BUA website and your purchase of products from BUA.
By using our website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before making a purchase.
1. ABOUT BUA
BUA is a sports brand specialising in GAA and athletic products, including training equipment, grip socks, sliotars, gloves, teamwear and customised sportswear.
Throughout these Terms, "BUA", "we", "us" and "our" refers to BUA.
"Customer", "you" and "your" refers to any person using our website or purchasing our products.
2. USING OUR WEBSITE
You agree to use the BUA website only for lawful purposes.
You must not:
- Use the website for fraudulent or unlawful purposes.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our website or systems.
- Copy, reproduce or misuse our website content without permission.
- Interfere with the operation or security of the website.
- Use our products, images, branding or content for commercial purposes without our written permission.
We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access to the website where we reasonably believe these Terms have been breached.
3. PRODUCTS
We make every effort to ensure that product descriptions, images, colours, sizes and specifications displayed on our website are accurate.
However, slight differences may occur between product images and the actual product, particularly due to screen settings, lighting or manufacturing variations.
Products are subject to availability.
If a product becomes unavailable after you place an order, we will contact you and, where appropriate, offer a replacement, alternative or refund.
4. PRODUCT PRICES
All prices displayed on our website will be shown clearly before you complete your purchase.
Where applicable, prices include VAT.
Delivery charges or other additional charges will be displayed before you complete your order.
BUA reserves the right to correct pricing errors. If an incorrect price has been displayed and you have placed an order at that price, we will contact you before processing the order.
5. ORDERS
When you place an order through our website, you are making an offer to purchase the selected products.
After placing an order, you will receive an order confirmation.
An order confirmation does not necessarily mean that the order has been accepted. We reserve the right to cancel an order in circumstances including:
- The product is unavailable.
- There is an obvious pricing or product description error.
- We suspect fraudulent activity.
- We are unable to obtain payment.
- We are unable to fulfil the order for reasons outside our reasonable control.
If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, you will receive a refund for the amount paid.
6. PAYMENT
Payment must be made using the payment methods available at checkout.
You confirm that you are authorised to use the payment method provided.
Orders will generally only be processed once payment has been successfully authorised.
7. DELIVERY
We aim to dispatch orders within the timeframe stated on our website.
Delivery times may vary depending on the destination, shipping provider, product availability and circumstances outside our control.
Once your order has been dispatched, you may receive tracking information where available.
BUA is not responsible for delays caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including postal delays, courier delays, adverse weather, customs delays or other unforeseen events.
If your order does not arrive within the expected timeframe, please contact us so that we can investigate the matter.
8. RETURNS AND RIGHT TO CANCEL
For most online purchases, consumers in Ireland have a legal 14-day cooling-off period. This period generally begins when the customer receives the goods. Customers must notify the business within the applicable period if they wish to exercise this right.
Where the legal right to cancel applies, customers may return eligible products in accordance with our Returns Policy.
Returned products should be unused and in their original condition, where applicable.
Certain products may be excluded from the statutory cancellation right where permitted by law, including personalised or made-to-order products.
Nothing in these Terms limits or removes any statutory consumer rights you have under Irish or applicable EU law.
9. FAULTY OR INCORRECT PRODUCTS
If a product is faulty, damaged, incorrect or does not conform to the sales contract, please contact BUA as soon as possible.
Depending on the circumstances and your legal rights, we may provide a repair, replacement, price reduction or refund.
Irish consumer law provides specific protections for faulty or non-conforming goods. These rights cannot be excluded by these Terms.
Normal wear and tear, accidental damage and damage caused by misuse are not generally considered manufacturing faults.
10. CUSTOM TEAMWEAR
Customised teamwear and personalised products may be produced specifically according to the information, colours, sizes, names, numbers, logos and specifications supplied by the customer.
Customers are responsible for checking and approving artwork, sizes, quantities and other details before production.
Once production has started, customised products may not be eligible for cancellation or return where permitted by law.
This does not affect your statutory rights where customised goods are faulty or do not conform to the agreed specification.
11. TEAM LOGOS AND CUSTOMER CONTENT
When submitting a club, school, organisation or team logo to BUA, you confirm that you have permission to use and reproduce that logo for the purpose of producing your order.
You remain responsible for ensuring that any content, logos, images or designs supplied to BUA do not infringe the rights of another person or organisation.
You grant BUA permission to use submitted artwork solely to fulfil your order, unless otherwise agreed.

14. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under Irish law.
BUA will not be responsible for losses arising from circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory consumer rights.
